If you're ready to enjoy a one-press, hands-off espresso that is fully customizable this machine is for you. Check out our Beem Espresso Grind Profession review for more information.
Its hoppers can be swapped to let you try different blends at the drop of a hat and its profiles mean you can pick up exactly where you left off. It's also less expensive than capsule machines and makes use of real coffee beans instead of ground coffee beans that are pre-ground.
1. Smeg BCC02
The design was created by Milan-based company Deep Design, this sleek compact and striking machine pairs the distinctive retro style of the brand with modern technology. It is able to handle every step of the coffee-making process - from grinding beans and then tamping the beans into a puck to texturing milk and dispensing the correct amount of coffee - meaning you can make barista-quality hot drinks at the touch of a button.
The machine also sports an elegant brushed aluminium front and is available in a variety of black, red or taupe, which means it's easy to integrate into the majority of kitchen designs. The machine does not come without faults however. Most reviewers found that it was a bit expensive for a cup-to- bean maker (and it doesn't come with the milk pitcher).
There were also many glowing reviews of the quality of the coffee as well as the ease of use of this machine. The digital display offers feedback and step-by-step directions throughout the entire brewing process, helping you to improve your coffee every time. It will even alert you to adjust the grind size if it's not exactly right. It's like having a personal barista at home (minus Elon Musk's rocket building abilities and Harry Potter's invisibility cape).
This model is ideal for those who like milky drinks. The steam wand can be adjusted upwards and downwards so that it fits most drinking vessels, excluding Viking drinking horns. We were impressed by the speed and effectiveness of the frothing process too. It produces an excellent, full-flavoured, delicious espresso with a fantastic crema.

The BCC02 is a fantastic all-rounder, quiet and efficient and provides great value for money, especially at its current price of PS499. The only problem is that it doesn't offer the same level customisation like other bean-to-cup machines we have tested. It has a 15 bar pump instead of the typical 19 bars that aren't as efficient to make high-quality espressos. This is a fantastic machine for those who like their coffee dark and strong. 2. Melitta Barista TS Smart
The Barista TS Smart comes with a variety of features that differentiate it from the competition. Its most distinctive feature is probably the fact that it is controlled from your smartphone using the Melitta Connect app. This allows you to change settings and dispense different coffee recipes that are stored in the machine itself.
This makes the machine adaptable and flexible to your preferences. There are a variety of options to change the intensity of your drink, cup sizes and even if you would like milk added. The machine comes with two airtight containers that are automatically selected for various specialties. The machine is set to use standard espresso beans and cafe creme, a German variant of long black or flat white. However, you are able to select any beans you want. There's also a convenient chute for pre-ground coffee if you'd prefer to make your own (for instance when that nagging dinner guest brings their own).
Users have also been impressed with the speed of the machine. They have reported that it is able to make their drinks much faster than other machines they have used. Another bonus is that it will notify you when one of its hoppers is nearly empty, so that you do not get caught running out of your favorite drink.
The only thing that could be a disadvantage for certain people is the price tag. This machine is not cheap, costing nearly PS999. However, it is far cheaper than comparable Jura machines that have the same number of features.
The Barista TS Smart is backed by a an impressive warranty, which provides two years of protection. This is longer than the average one year guarantee, so it is a assurance from the manufacturer. It also includes the cleaning tablet and descaler, making it simple to keep up to date with the machine's needs for maintenance. This is a fantastic machine for those who are looking for a top-quality and flexible bean to cup machine that's priced at a reasonable price.
3. Jura GIGA 6
The Jura GIGA 6 is an amazing espresso machine that utilizes the power of artificial intelligence to make the best specialty coffees. It learns what you enjoy and adjusts its menu to help you choose your favorite drinks. You can also choose the size of your grind you prefer, water temperature, and coffee foam volumes. The clever cleaning, rinsing and sanitizing programmes are activated by pressing a button. This makes the maintenance of your coffee maker more simple than ever.
The unique thing about the Giga 6 is that it has two coffee and milk Spouts, allowing it to create two different coffee recipes at once. This is made possible by the dual heating and fluid systems in the machine. Spouts can be adjusted for the width and height in order to accommodate different cups. Additionally, there is a spout to pour hot water which can be used to make tea or iced coffee.
The Giga 6 comes with a unique feature: you can duplicate and customize your favorite coffees. This is particularly beneficial if you enjoy the same drink both morning and evening. For example, you can create an original flat white using regular beans, and then a duplicate with decaf. You can change the ingredients, such as the type of milk used or the amount sugar or cocoa.
Both the Giga 6 and Z10 come with an amazing array of customization options. You can select from 28 different specialty drinks with a single touch. You can also alter the strength of coffee and choose from a variety of levels of milk foam.
The GIGA 6, Z10 and Z10 are equipped with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display that is in full colour and a rotary switch to make it easy to navigate through the various features on offer. You can also connect the GIGA 6 to your smartphone via WiFi, which will allow you to download a variety of apps that let you customize your favourite drinks in the comfort of your home. The only issue with this device is that some users have had issues with the drip tray leaked. If you encounter this issue you should contact the customer service team immediately.
4. Nespresso Inissia
The Nespresso Inissia offers coffee and espresso lovers a convenient and cost-effective way to brew their favorite coffee drinks at home. Its high-pressure pump and patented extraction system guarantees that each cup of coffee is rich, flavorful, and velvety smooth. The Inissia is equipped with a large capacity water tank that is quick to heat up, allowing users to make several cups of coffee without having to refill it regularly.
The compact and sleek Inissia is one of the most space-saving pod machines on the market which makes it perfect for kitchens with limited counter space. It is simple to use and set up, with only minimal effort. When the machine is fully charged, it can make one cup of coffee in less than 25 seconds, which makes it ideal for those who require an instant caffeine boost.
The Inissia also has a selection of premium coffee capsules that will suit any taste - from intense and strong to mild and aromatic. The machine is energy efficient and will shut off after nine minutes if it is not used. It uses low amounts of electricity. Its versatile design also includes an adjustable drip tray that can be used to accommodate taller recipe glasses and an empty capsule container that can hold up to 11 empty capsules.
To make the perfect cup of coffee, simply place the capsule into the machine and press one of the two buttons to begin the brewing process. The Espresso button will deliver an espresso shot and the Lungo button will run a greater amount of water to make a lungo-style coffee. You can pause or stop the brewing process at any moment and if you require more or less water you can adjust the volume via the control panel.
The ease of cleaning offered by Inissia is a further great benefit. Every day, run a wash with water without a capsule through the machine to eliminate any remaining residue. Descale the machine every three months to get rid of any lime or calcium deposits. To learn more about how to do this go here to watch our video.
